Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) govern the sale of all chondros by TetraHam Chondros, LLC ("TetraHam Chondros").  By purchasing a python from TetraHam Chondros, you (the "Customer") acknowledge and agree to these Terms.  

PAYMENT AND PAYMENT PLANS

TetraHam Chondros will not ship chondros before they are paid for in full.  TetraHam Chondros may allow payment plans on a case-by-case basis, in its sole discretion.  

GENERAL HEALTH

Unless otherwise noted, TetraHam Chondros has no knowledge of chondros it offers for sale having history of internal or external parasites, respiratory infection, prolapse, kinks or skinfolds .  Customer is responsible for quarantining all new specimens for a sufficient period of time.  TetraHam Chondros will not be responsible for the alleged or actual death or illness of any other animals in your collection.  Customer represents and agrees that he or she has the knowledge, ability and experience necessary to properly care for these animals. TetraHam Chondros will make reasonable efforts to provide after-sale support and advice, but cannot guarantee that Customer's new chondro will thrive due to differences in husbandry practices and environmental conditions.  Chondros sometimes go off-feed as a result of shipping stress or being placed in a new environment.  This is particularly true for sexually mature males.

NIDOVIRUSES (SERPENTOVIRUSES)

TetraHam Chondros encourages testing for nidoviruses (aka serpentoviruses) for any any new python, regardless of source or species.  In order to receive a refund for a nidovirus-positive chondro Customer must: (1) test the chondro within seven (7) calendar days of receipt; and (2)  notify TetraHam Chondros and provide a copy of any positive test results within fourteen (14) calendar days of receipt.  Provided that the foregoing requirements are satisfied,  TetraHam Chondros will provide a shipping label for the chondro to be returned to TetraHam Chondros and provide a full refund upon its receipt. TetraHam Chondros  will have no responsibility for any positive test results for any test samples taken after seven (7) days following delivery nor for any test results it receives from Customer after fourteen (14) days following delivery.  The warranty provided in this paragraph is TetraHam Chondros’ sole warranty with respect to nidoviruses (serpentoviruses) and TetraHam Chondros does not make, and hereby expressly disclaims, any other warranties of any kind whatsoever.

SHIPPING

Shipping within the United States is included in the price of all chondros, unless stated otherwise. TetraHam Chondros ships via FedEx and requires packages to be held for pickup at the nearest FedEx staffed facility.  TetraHam Chondros will postpone shipping if weather conditions will jeopardize the health of the chondro(s). 

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE

TetraHam Chondros guarantees live arrival, provided that Customer complies with all of the following requirements:

1.      Customer picks up the package within one (1) hour of FedEx making it available for pick up;

2.     Customer notifies TetraHam Chondros of any problems within two (2) hours of receiving the package; and

3.     Customer provides TetraHam Chondros  with a clear picture of the deceased Chondros(s). 

Should a chondro arrive deceased, and Customer satisfies the above requirements, TetraHam Chondros will provide Customer with a full refund or credit.  If Customer requests TetraHam Chondros  to ship directly to his or her door, or if hold for pickup is not an option, live arrival is not guaranteed.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Exportation to Canada and Europe is possible, provided that Customer pays for all shipping and documentation fees. 

SEXING POLICY

TetraHam Chondros guarantees that Chondro it specifies as being male or female will be accurately sexed.  In the event a chondro is incorrectly sexed, Customer must provide written notification to TetraHam Chondros within fourteen (14) days of receiving the chondro.  After the expiration of this 14-day period, TetraHam Chondros will no longer be responsible for incorrectly-sexed pythons.
